On October 1, Plácido Domingo travels to Venezuela to perform in concert at Poliedro de Caracas, marking his highly anticipated return to the South American country after 14 years.

Plácido Domingo, Honorary President of Europa Nostra, celebrated the inauguration of Villa Viardot, a historic monument in Bougival, France, that hosted the famous musical and literary salon of the singer and composer Pauline Viardot in the 19th century.

On September 17, Plácido Domingo was distinguished with the Lifetime Achievement Award at the 2023 Murex D’or Awards in Beirut, Lebanon.

After a busy summer performing across Europe, Plácido Domingo travels to Bulgaria on September 15 to conduct a sold-out performance of La Traviata, taking the Sofia Opera podium for the first time.

Following his highly acclaimed Gala in the centennial edition of the Arena di Verona Festival, the Fondazione Arena di Verona has announced Plácido Domingo’s return for its 2024/25 season, starring in a glorious “Noche Española” on August 21, 2024.  

Plácido Domingo, who has graced the Arena di Verona stage every year since his debut in 1969, returns to the iconic venue for the centennial edition of the Veronese Festival, starring in the Gala “Plácido Domingo in Opera - Arena 100”.
